Perinatal outcome in women with preeclampsia among women referred to Assali hospital obstetrics center in khoramabad
The preeclampsia is one of the most important factors that cause perinatal maternal morbidity and mortality. Side effects of preeclampsia in pregnancy are always one among three factors that lead to maternal morbtiy and mortality in all of the developing countries.
In this study 1862 mothers admitted to the Assali hospital obstetrics ward and were chosen for a cross sectional study in a six month period of time. Data were collected by accessible sampling via the questionnaire, interview, observation and examination.
In This study Results showed that 5.42% of the cases had preeclampsia. In summary Perinatal outcomes: 34.3% LBW, 29% preterm labor, 12.5% IUGR, 6.25% IUFD. Significant relation was observed between preeclampsia and pervious hypertension (p < 0.001).
