The aim of this research is the effect of employees' job engagement on social responsibility with the mediating role of their supportive behavior in Tabriz metropolitan municipality. The research method used is descriptive and survey and the statistical population of the present study are managers, deputies and employees of Tabriz metropolitan municipality which is 3760 people. The sample size was 349 using Cochran's formula. Data collection tool was three standard questionnaires that the validity of the data collection tool was based on content validity and Cronbach's alpha test was used to assess their reliability. SPSS and Lisrel software were also used to test the research hypotheses. Findings showed that supportive behavior of employees has a mediating role in the effect of job engagement on social responsibility.
