The examinatian of psychometric charecters of desire to remarriage among married men in Isfahan city

The purpose of the research was to examine validity and reliability of desir to remarriage among married men in Isfahan city. The statistical population was all married men in Isfahan in 95-96 year. The sample included 400 men that they were voluntary selected. The research measurements were family relations (Olson & Barnes, 2004). Unsecure attachment style (Armesden & Grinberg , 1981), nuretism, agreeableness and counsecness subscales of Neo (costa & Mccare, 1997) scales. Data analyzed in two levels, descriptive (means, standard deviations, freqencies and quvartile ranks) and infrentiad statistic (person correlation, exploration factors analysis). The results showed internal consistency was acceptable, frequencies distribution has curtisis to left. Unsecure attachment to father and nuretism has positive and significant correlation with desire to remarriage. The results confirmed convergent validity. Family relations, agreeableness and councessnes have negative and significant correlation with desire to remarriage, these results confirm divergenet validity. The results of explorative factor analysis showed three factors included. »prospectirg remarriage« »severe tendency to remarriage« and »positve emotions about remarriage«. The correlations of each factor with total score were significant. Both of them confirmed counstrected validity. As regard to result, desire to remarige scale has proper psyehometric charecters and it can use to assess remarriage in family research and treat men’ desire to remarriage.
