Criticisms and Damages of "Study of (Social) Currents" And their Typology
The "Currentological" approach to historical, intellectual, cultural and religious information is prevalent. Also, this is a new theoretical literature. Accordingly, the purpose of this article is to identify the criticisms and harms of "Study of Social Currents (Currentology)" literature.
This article is written using a descriptive-analytical method and using library resources.
Nine essential dangers threaten "Study of Social Currents". And these criticisms are generally categorized into seven titles, Titles that will fall into three categories: basic, construction, and orientation. Based on epistemological roots, nine injuries can be typologically refered to as: 1. Basic Criticisms, 2. Construction critiques of the product, 3. Construction critiques of the method.
In order to reinforce"Currentology" as Theory-Method, it is necessary to analyze its damages and respond to its criticisms. The etymology of criticisms and Responding to criticism with Analytical approach, pave the way for this. Currentology researchers need to pay attention to these nine important damages in "Currentological" products. Among them, The Cognitive Fallacy is noteworthy due to its prevalence and deep damage.
