Abstract:
The eight-year period of the Holy Defense (Iran-Iraq War) is full of successes and failures, bitterness and sweetness. Countless martyrs, warriors and commanders played a role in this field. The history of the imposed war and the holy defense has recorded many of these epic creations. In the meantime, some roles are more prominent and unforgettable. According to historical evidence, General Ali Sayad Shirazi is one of the commanders who had an influential and valuable role in the events and periods of the Iraq-Iran war. In this article, the author intends to retrospectively consider his role as the one who Was able to restore unity and cohesion to the armed forces, according to the documents and narrations of knowledgeable personalities and experts and witnesses of the holy defense era and published memoirs of that martyr using descriptive-analytical research method, and collection by library and internet research method, analysis and Analyze, review and identify.
