A Qualitative Study of the Transmission of Religious Culture through the Family to the Children of the 60-80s

The purpose of this study was to conduct a "qualitative study of the transmission of religious culture through the family to the children of the 60s and 80s".This study identifies and interprets the transmission of religious culture from families to children by accepting the assumption that religious culture as a change has been undergoing major changes over the past few decades. For this purpose, a review of previous studies was conducted in the form of an interpretive approach using qualitative research method and the selection of semi-structured interview technique as the research technique. The statistical population consists of those born in the 60s and 80s of Tehran who reached theoretical saturation with 32 people. The findings of the study indicate that in the generations of the 80s and 60s, the religious culture that has been examined through beliefs, beliefs, rituals and emotions has become individual, personal, less obligatory, free and rational، The transfer of religious culture is also less effective than formal religious and compulsory institutions. In the religious dimension of religious culture transmission, families have had relative success and have been able to institutionalize religious culture. Also in the aftermath, religion as a religion still has a deterrent role in preventing personal and social harm.
