Partisanship Against Banī Hāshim in the Time of Prophet: Symptoms,sides, and the Backgrounds of Oppositionwith the Hāshimite Imamate

Banī Hāshim and the prophet’s progeny were put aside after his death. One of the prominent theories in explanation of this event is the existence of pre-agreement of some companions in the life of the Prophet. However, the symptoms, the sides, and the backgrounds of these agreements had not been received enough attention yet and, on the other hand, the provided reasons are not sufficient or did not support the claim. Thus, this paper tries to study and analyze the symptoms, dimensions, processes, and backgrounds of currents that founded a kind of partisanship in the time of the Prophet. In this study, there was serious partisanship among the Qurayshite and non-Qurayshite Muslims against Banī Hāshim that originated in the pre-Islamic competition, the battle in the time of Prophet, the succession of the Prophet, and Imam Ali’s intolerance in religion.
