A Comparative Study of the Causes and Motives of the Phenomenon of Exaggeration from the Perspective of the Holy Quran and the Testaments

One of the possible deviations in the field of religion and beliefs is that despite rational guidance and sending messengers and divine books, human beings have been mythologizing throughout history and focusing their efforts on magnifying the people, religious symbols and objects around them that are referred to in religious terms. The phenomenon is called exaggeration. Numerous factors have been involved in its formation. The purpose of this article is to examine the factors and grounds of exaggeration in the Testaments and the expression of the Holy Quran in this regard. In this research, descriptive and analytical methods have been used and using books and electronic library resources, the researches of this research have been discussed and examined. In the end, the ways out of this belief deviation have been stated.
