The effectiveness of mindfulness training combined with a healthy lifestyle on adaptive behaviors and cognitive dissonance in adolescent girls with coping disorder
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of integrated mindfulness training on adaptive behaviors and cognitive dissonance of adolescent girls with coping disorder. The present research method is quasi-experimental for groups that are incompatible with pre-test and post-test. The statistical population includes all first-year high school students with disability disorder. A total of 40 adolescents who were diagnosed with coping disorder (CSI-4) according to the Pediatric Symptomatic Questionnaire (CSI-4) were selected by available method and received two experimental and control groups. Harmon-Jones scales (DARQ scales) and Lambert et al.chr('39')s adaptive behavior scales were used to gather information. The experimental group participated in the training program in groups of 10 90-minute sessions, and the training program was implemented by the researcher. A covariance test was used to analyze the data. The findings show that mindfulness training improves the adaptive behaviors of exemplary people and reduces their arousal. But it has not had a significant effect on cognitive dissonance.
