A Presentation of Model in Mentoring System for Novice, case: Ministry Of Science, Research & Technology
The main purpose of this research is to design a model of mentoring system in new employees of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
This research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of implementation method, it is a descriptive survey and is among the mixed researches. The statistical population in the qualitative part includes executive and academic experts in the field of higher education management and in the quantitative part includes all experts and managers working in the headquarters of the MSRT, which used 222 people. They were selected from Cochran's formula and stratified randomly as a sample. The data collection tool was a interview and a researcher-made questionnaire. Content analysis was used to analyze the data in the qualitative part and confirmatory factor analysis was used in the quantitative part.
Findings indicate the identification of four dimensions of the principles of mentoring (with two components of institutional requirements and mentoring requirements); Process (with three components of design and development, implementation and evaluation of mentoring), competencies; (With two components of manti competencies and mentor competencies) and mentoring content (with two components of individual behavior training and organizational behavior training).
The results of this research can be useful for better understanding the mentoring system and its implementation in the organization under study and provide a good basis for other research.
