Imam khomeini school and Govermment

Forming government or the issue of leadering the Islamic society is not a new religious issue. But it’s an issue which popular religious Jurists from Sheikh Mofid to Contemporary ones have mentioned it in their Compilation. Some of famous religious jurists have called this issue among Axioms of Shi’a sect and others have claimed on its proof, the others have emphasized on its popularity or faultlessness. On the base of history, Imam Khomeini is the only Shia religious jurist who has studied the issue of Islamic government and leadering Islamic society comprehensively. And to prove it has combined both logic and quotes aspects and has studied it both in theoretical and practical aspect. In this regard, the author in this article, aims to express Imam Khomeini’s point of view on this issue on the base of his approach and then expressing the approach of peoples to religious jurist during the history and finally has studied the role of people in Islamic government on the base of Imam Khomeini’s point of view. Method of research in this article is descriptive – analysis referring to available documents in in libraries especially Imam Khomeini’s left compilations.
