Relationship between satisfaction with in-service teacher training and job performance Mediated by the professional development of teachers in Baharestan region
This study was conducted to determine the relationship between in-service teacher training and job performance mediated by the professional development of public school teachers in Baharestan region. The purpose of the research is applied. The data is quantitative research. The method and nature of the research is descriptive (correlation) and structural equation modeling. The statistical population includes all teachers of public secondary schools in Baharestan region with 550 people (300 women and 250 men). The sample size was 226 based on Cochran's formula and stratified random sampling method, Pearson correlation coefficient and structural equation modeling (SEM) were used to analyze the data. The results showed: 1- There is a relationship between in-service satisfaction training and teachers' job performance. 2- There is a relationship between in-service satisfaction training and teacher professional development. 3- Professional development has a mediating role in the relationship between in-service training satisfaction and teachers' job performance. 4- Among the components of professional development, the component of classroom management has a mediating role in the relationship between satisfaction with in-service training and job performance of teachers and other components of professional development (educational ICT, curriculum planning, ability to communicate with students) in relation to satisfaction with education. In service and job performance, teachers do not have a mediating role. 5- There is a relationship between satisfaction with in-service training of teachers and job performance mediated by teachers' professional development.
