The Relationship Between Psychosocial Stress, Personal Identity and Sense of Self-Efficacy and Sense of Social Security among the Girls Students at Shahrekord City
This study aimed at determining the association between psychosocial stress, personal identity and sense of self-efficacy and social security feeling among the first period high school girls students in Shahrekord city. The method of research was descriptive and correlation in type and the statistical society consisted of all first period high school girls’ students that among them 317 people were randomly selected and studied. The measuring tools consisted of 29 items, included psycho-social stress questionnaire, Berzonsky identity styles questionnaire (1989), Sherer and Adams self-efficacy questionnaire (1982) and Sahabi Social Security questionnaire (2010). The obtained data were analyzed both in descriptive and inferential level. The results showed that self-efficacy (p<0/01, β=0/415) and informational identity style (p<0/01, β=0/153) (at positive direction), psycho-social stress (p<0/01, β=0/157) and disoriented identity style (p<0/05, β=0/10) (at negative direction) were predictors of sense of social security. The obtained results can be used in order to raise the sense of social security for students.
