Analysis of women’s sports rights in the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran
valuing human dignity is one of the important components of Islam. According to this principle, there is no difference between respecting creatures and both men and women have special rights. According to the verses of the Qur’an and the traditions and narrations in the Islamic society, they are considered and have high human values. One of the important rights of women is sports rights, which is tried to be addressed in this article. The method of work in this article is as follows: we first examine the conditions and rights of women in Islam and then the evolution that Islam brought about in these conditions and rights is studied and then the obstacles and problems of women’s presence and rights in the Iranian constitution are examined. Finally, we examine the post-revolutionary period in the last decade. The question we seek to answer in this article is whether the Islamic nature of Iran and the victory of the Islamic Revolution had an impact on women’s rights, including their right to sports? The answer is that given the achievements that women have made in various fields, including sports, there has been a growing trend as if this trend continues. And in the planning of various institutions, women’s rights are also paid more attention in this field.
