Abstract:

One of the important characteristics of social security in any society is the existence of an acceptable level of quality of urban life for all citizens in that light of which they can engage in their daily activities. The present study is of a quantitative type. Data were obtained through survey and a researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect information. The statistical population of the study includes all citizens over the age of 18 are in of the metropolis of Tehran. The statistical sample was obtained based on Cochran's formula (605). Sampling was performed by stratified proportional method. Data obtained from the distribution and collection of questionnaires were entered in SPSS software and have been analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings show that out of six indicators of social participation with a beta rate (0.363), a sense of gender equality. with a beta rate of (0.353) and physical health with a beta rate (0.138) they have the greatest impact on the dependent variable ,the feeling of social security in the metropolis of Tehran
