The Relationship Between Trust to Managers and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior with the Mediation of Organizational Identity and Commitment in Sports and Youth of Guilan Province
The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between the trust to managers and organizational citizenship behavior in sports and youth of Guilan provinces, with the mediation of organizational identity and commitment.
The present study is a descriptive- correlation. For data collection used Chathoth’s et al., (2010) trust in managers questionnaire, Cheney’s(1953), organizational identity questionnaire ,Allen & Meyer(1997) organizational commitment questionnaire and Tavakolli’s et al (2009) organizational citizenship behavior questionnaire. The population was formed of all the staff of the General Administration of Sports and Youth of Guilan province (130 people), through that 101 questionnaires were collected. Data were analyzed with SPSS 22 and Smart PLS 3 modeling software.
Trust in managers did not directly affect in organizational citizenship behavior,But the direct effectiveness of putting trust in managers in organizational identity, organizational identity in organizational commitment and organizational commitment in organizational citizenship behavior was in an optimal level.Finally trust in managers is indirectly effective in organizational citizenship behavior through the mediation of organizational identity and commitment.
Managers can increase organizational trust through making their employees trust them in order to increase organizational identity, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior.
