The Impact of Employee Psychological Empowerment on Organizational Crisis in the Face of Covid Phenomenon 19; Emphasizing the mediating role of organizational spirituality (Case study; Staff of Imam Shahr Hospital in Ardabil)
Today, the organizational crisis facing Covid 19 is one of the most impactful problems faced by managers and employees of organizations around the world. Therefore, the present study investigated the effect of psychological empowerment of employees in organizational crisis in the face of the phenomenon of Covid 19 with the mediating role of organizational spirituality.The purpose is practical and descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the study includes the staff of Imam Khomeini Hospital in Ardabil and the sample size is 210 people who were selected based on non-random sampling method. Expressing the measurement of variables is a standard questionnaire and test the research model based on the method of structural equations with LISREL software.The standardized coefficient between the two variables (psychological empowerment and organizational crisis) shows β = 0.692 and the significance coefficient between these two variables also shows 9.651. The standardized coefficient between the two variables (organizational spirituality and organizational crisis) is β = 0.608 and the significance coefficient between these two variables is 14.851. Another result is the z-value of the Sobel test equal to 13.173 which showed that psychological empowerment has an effect on organizational crisis in the face of the Covid 19 phenomenon with emphasis on the mediating role of organizational spirituality.Structural equation modeling also showed that psychological empowerment of employees through the mediating role of organizational spirituality has an effect on organizational crisis in the face of Covid 19 phenomenon.
