Abstract:
Earthquake is dangerous and catastrophic natural phenomena that cause great damage to human societies every year. Despite significant advances in the retrofitting of urban buildings and increasing the knowledge and ability of specialists in natural disaster control, earthquakes are still considered as one of the most important hazards in residential areas, especially cities. Iran is one of the most earthquake-prone countries in the world and the city of Razan in Hamadan province has a high seismic potential due to its location next to important faults such as Avaj fault and the possibility of earthquakes with a magnitude of more than 6 in this region. Therefore, determining the vulnerability and resilience of this city against earthquakes is very important. The purpose of this study is to prepare a zoning map of Razan city vulnerability and also to determine the resilience of Razan city to earthquake events. In order to prepare a zoning map of Razan city vulnerability to earthquake, 15 demographic, natural and physical variables were used and using fuzzy network analysis (FANP), Razan vulnerability map was prepared in five floors and by neighborhoods. Took. In addition, in order to analyze the resilience and readiness of the residents of this city to deal with the earthquake event, 372 questionnaires in the form of 32 questions with social, economic, physical-managerial and environmental approaches were completed by the citizens of this city. The results of vulnerability zoning show that 55% of the area of Razan city is in the range of high and very high vulnerability and neighborhood 5 with an average vulnerability of 0.798 has the highest vulnerability. Physical factors such as poor skeleton of buildings, old age of buildings, narrow passages and especially high population density are important factors affecting the vulnerability of Razan city. In addition, the results of the questionnaire show that the preparedness and resilience of the city's neighborhoods against earthquakes in any of the city's neighborhoods are not on the upper and very high floors, and the middle class with a score of 2.7 is the dominant trend in the resilience of these neighborhoods. It is a city and the third neighborhood of this city has the lowest rate of resilience of the city. Poor functioning of management and institutional structures as well as low economic ability of citizens to return to favorable conditions after the earthquake are among the factors that have led to a decrease in the resilience of Razan city against earthquakes.
