Analysis of the effect of environmental components on the development of small and medium businesses in the petrochemical industry

the aim of this study was to investigate the impact of environmental components on the development of small and medium businesses in the petrochemical industry. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method. The statistical population of this study was small and medium business managers in the petrochemical industry. Questionnaires of this research were distributed among 39 managers in this field. The validity of pre-distribution research tools by professors and experts in the field of validation management as well as convergent validity has been calculated using the confirmatory factor analysis model and its reliability has been calculated using Cronbach's alpha. Data analysis was performed using SPSS and SMART PLS software using descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling. Findings showed that environmental components have significant and positive effects on the development of small and medium businesses in the petrochemical industry. The findings also showed that the components of political / legal environment, economic environment, cultural / social environment and technological environment have a significant impact on the development of small and medium businesses in the petrochemical industry.
