Application of Barry Buzan's security theory in the analysis of Islamic fundamentalism

It seems that Islamic Fundamentalism is still one of the problematic issues of the world. Fundamentalists not only kill the “others” but also kill Muslims who are different from them. From my perspective, the fall of the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham(ISIS) does not mean the fall of Islamic Fundamentalism. The author of this article believes that Islamic Fundamentalism is still a threat to the world’s security. The main question of the article is that what has been securitized by Islamist Fundamentalists? I tried to examine this question through the “securitization theory of Bary Buzan”. I argued that “Modernity and Modernization” have been securitized by them. It seems that modernity is a kind of existential threat for Islamists Fundamentalists like the Taliban and ISIS
