Holy defence cinema in the next four decades from the islamic revolution

This study seeks to study the sacred defense cinema during the four decades after the Islamic Revolution (1360-1400). The ups and downs of this cinema during the forty years after the Islamic Revolution, the study of developments and the role of governments after the Islamic Revolution, is the subject of this research. The theoretical framework of this research is based on two theories of "complement-reflection" and "shaping", according to which art is a reflection of social conditions and at the same time it is used to shape public opinion. In this research, qualitative content analysis method has been used for a deeper understanding of the structure and function of sacred defense cinematic works. The results of the research show that pathologically, the sacred defense cinema has been unloved by governments, officials and relevant institutions during the forty years after the Islamic Revolution. The findings also show that most films in this genre, despite different categories, both in the war critic category and in the war group, due to the special sensitivities of this genre, try to promote the sacred defense.
