Healthy lifestyles and avoidance of high-risk behaviors are effective and important factors in physical, psychological and social health and are an invaluable resource for adapting to stressful living conditions and can enhance a person's ability to live longer and healthier. Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the role of social factors in the incidence of high-risk behaviors and related social status among students of Tabriz University. The statistical population of the study is 15351 students of Tabriz University and according to the Cochran formula the Number of statistical samples is 375 students. The research method is survey and sampling method is stratified sampling; the instruments used in the questionnaire and for analyzing the collected data g SPSS software was used. The results of the research indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between the variables of Internet usage and cultural capital with the variable of incidence of high risk behaviors; there is a negative and significant relationship between life satisfaction with the variable of occurrence of high risk behaviors, and the main hypothesis is confirmed. Also, the results of studying the variables of the research indicate that there is not meaningful relationship between income variable and the incidence of high risk behaviors among students. Finally, the results of the difference in the mean of the incidence of high risk behaviors based on the social class indicate that the difference between the mean of occurrence of high risk behaviors based on the social class of students is not meaningful.
