The role of border markets in development of border regions (case study: Tamarchin border market of Piranshahr city )

The border regions have distant from country center, geographic isolation and deprivation. There is crucial developmental differences between these region and center. The establishment and activities of border market can impact of adjustment condition of center- periphery and regional welfare. This research examines border market of Piranshahar city by using descriptive- analytical method. The variables examination revealed that all habitants were satisfied about border market. On the other hand, all hypothesis being tested and verified. Generally, the results of this research presents that border market has some benefits such as job Opportunities, migrant reduction and tourism attraction, and other hand, it’s proven to some harms for examples, traffic Congestion, cultural Invasion and etc
