The effects of substance abuse and psychotropic substances on the subjective dimension of social security among city of Uremia suburbia women
Social security, social stability and one of the most important aspects of it is the subjective dimension of social security. Social security in each region is influenced by various factors. In the meantime, drug abuse and marginalization is one of the factors that have a huge impact on the quality of social security. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of substance abuse and psychotropic substances on the subjective dimension of social security among women suburbia city of Uremia. The study was a cross sectional descriptive study, according to the survey method is applied research. The population of this study included all Uremia city suburbs women over age 25 and by Using convenience sampling, 180 subjects completed the study sample size were selected. Results showed that the abuse of narcotics and psychotropic substances and the subjective dimension of social security and there is a significant inverse relationship. Therefore reduction in drug abuse in suburbia communities can have an effective role in improving the subjective dimension of security. The consumption of narcotics and psychotropic substances is higher among residents, social security mental decline among women.
