Police is one of the main factors in setting order and maintain it, and due to continuous interaction between citizens and the police, having satisfaction with the police is crucial for evaluating and improving police performance. In present survey research, the relationship between satisfaction with the performance of police and illegality was studied. The population of this research was students of Tabriz University from which 376 students were selected as the aprticipants by Cochran formula. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was used to assess the reliability of the questionnaire, the Cronbach's alpha coefficients for the variables of illegality and satisfaction of police performance were 89.0 and 89.0, respectively. The research findings showed that respondents' satisfaction with the performance of the police force was high. Also, there was a significant negative correlation between the satisfaction of the police performance and the illegality. Thus, it can be said that the students who were more satisfied with the performance of the police force were the less illegal.
