The type of research is developmental in terms of purpose and applied in terms of result and qualitative and quantitative in terms of data type. The statistical population of the research in the qualitative section includes 15 professors of management and curriculum planning and executive experts working in AJA military universities who were selected by probabilistic and purposeful non-probabilistic sampling method.The quantitative part includes 250 experts working in the field of research and education in the mentioned universities. According to Morgan table, the sample size was 152 people and were selected using simple random sampling method.Data collection tools in the qualitative part included semi-structured interviews and in the quantitative part a researcher-made questionnaire. The validity of the interviews was confirmed by retesting. The content validity of the quantitative questionnaire was also confirmed by experts. The data analysis method was designed in the qualitative part including content analysis and in the quantitative part structural equation modeling was designed to validate the model.
Research findings indicate the identification of components of research performance of universities, including: 1- Research professors 2- Library 3- Evaluation 4- Ideas and discoveries 5- Research actions of professors 6- Research projects 7- Published journals 8- Scientific Conference 9- Encouragement and satisfaction of professors 10- Supports and research facilities. The results of quantitative analysis confirm the significance of the relationship between the indicators and components of the research model that these relationships are significant at the alpha level of 0.05.
