Structural Analysis of Gig Economy Role in the Social Entrepreneurship Development (Case Study: Sistan and Baluchestan)
Gig economy refers to the presence of people who start working other than being hired. In this new form of economics, professionals are employed on a temporary basis; They are mainly employed in specialized jobs and after finishing their work, they receive a fee and move on to other projects in another company. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the role of Gig economics in the development of social entrepreneurship. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of nature. The research tool is a semi-structured questionnaire with Likert scale. The reliability of the research instrument was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha method and Word coefficient of 0.85. The statistical population includes all people who work as freelancers or freelancers in social businesses such as educational centers, cooperatives, etc. in Sistan and Baluchestan province. Statistical sample of 135 people who were selected using snowball sampling method. The obtained data were analyzed using structural equation modeling by partial least squares method. Finally, control variables with a coefficient of 15.37, individual differences with a coefficient of 13.97, wages and working time with a coefficient of 17.41 and differences in job quality with a coefficient of 18.18 of Gig economy variables, their impact on the development of social entrepreneurship were confirmed.
