The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of genuine leadership in the performance of education staff in Urmia This research is a descriptive regression analysis in terms of the purpose of applied research and in terms of data collection. The statistical population of this study consists of all employees of the General Department of Education of Urmia city in the number of 300 people. Using Morgan table, 169 people were randomly selected as a sample. The collection tool was Avolio, Gardner and Valium (2006) Genuine Leadership Questionnaire, Hershey and Goldsmith Organizational Performance Questionnaire The apparent validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by citing experts' opinions and their reliability was confirmed by citing Cronbach's alpha coefficient. To organize, summarize and analyze the data using descriptive statistics characteristics such as percentages, mean and standard deviation, etc. and in inferential statistics with correlation test and regression analysis to analyze the data. The results show that there is a significant relationship between original leadership and organizational performance of employees at the level of (= 0.05). Therefore, with the increase of genuine leadership, the organizational performance of employees also increases. Therefore, in order to improve the performance of the employees of the organization, it is necessary to implement genuine leadership at all levels of the organization and try to implement it as best as possible. . It is suggested that education managers and leaders, by applying this leadership style and its appropriate executive approaches, provide the basis for improving the performance of subordinates.
