Theological methodology of Mohammad bin Ahmad Khajagi Shirazi
Muhammad ibn Ahmad Khajagi Shirazi is one of the prominent scholars of intellectual and narrative sciences in the tenth and eleventh centuries AH. He has written several works in theology. He has skills in various sciences and has used them in theological discussions. His theological arguments are purely rational in matters which require the utilization of quotations, and in matters which are not so, they are rational-narrative. He has used rational thinking in interpreting and explaining verses and hadiths. In his discussions, he has paid attention to the opinions of philosophers, theologians and mystics and has criticized them fairly.
