Abstract:

While the artistic effects and phonetic aspects of the Holy Quran have attracted the attention of the people of the age from the beginning of the revelation, and they have been influenced by the musical song and its unique tone, but this matter except in a few latest decades, which has been accompanied by the development of linguistics and phonology, has not been the focus of Quran studies and its dark dimensions and angles have not been properly explained. The melody of the Quran, whether at the level of words and letters and at the level of sentences and verses, is today studied and analyzed in the discussions of the expressive and rhetorical miracles of the Quran, which purpose is to represent the novel order and style of the Quran in presenting religious and Islamic lessons.The subject of the order of the melody and music of the Quran, which discusses that how words and meanings are related in the Holy Quran, has wide dimensions and angles that indicate the need to pay attention to this important aspect of the Quran. In this regard, the present article has been written with the aim of reviewing and rereading the views and opinions of Ayatollah Seyyed Mahmoud Taleghani, regarding the musical aspects of the verses and the harmony of melodies and weights with the meanings and purposes of Quran verses. The commentator in the interpretation of a ray of the Quran, especially in the interpretation of the Meccan Surahs, which are often in the final part of the Quran and the presence and effect of the melody in them is more evident than other parts, has tried to study and analyze the harmony of the verses tones. Among the topics that the commentator has analyzed in expressing the melody of the verses and words of the Quran, as well as state of coordinate the words with the meanings and purposes, the following can be mentioned: length of verses , expression of tone and weights of verses and its adaptation and harmony with meanings and purposes, role of movements and letters and its exists in inducing concepts and meanings, characteristics of Quran distances and their coordination with the contents of verses and Surahs, comparison of Surahs from the perspective of song and content as well as the division and expression of verses of a Surah from the perspective of melody.
