After initial sampling, 3 couples were placed in the combined group of emotion-focused therapy and compassion therapy. The Marital Quality of Life Questionnaire (Fletcher, Simpson and Thomas, 2000) and the Collins and Reed Attachment Questionnaire (1990) were used to collect data. The group of subjects underwent a combination of emotion-oriented couple therapy and compassion therapy once a week for 12 sessions. Data were analyzed by visual mapping, stable change index and percentage improvement formula. Data analysis showed the effectiveness of treatment in couples who underwent the combined package of emotion-focused couple therapy and compassionate therapy. According to the research findings, this approach can be used to improve relationships and reduce the rate of divorce in society.
