Given the specific nature of sexual crimes and the circumstances of the victims of these crimes, the importance of a specialized body in the police in order to support these victims and prevent and combat sexual crimes is particularly felt. Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to address the importance of how a specialized police force is responsible for victims of sexual crimes.

Due to the nature of the subject, the present study is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of data collection by documentary method and by studying valid laws and sources and the obtained information is analyzed descriptively-analytically.

Regarding the causes of sexual crimes, we can mention such things as genetic characteristics, psychological problems among criminals, alcohol use, drugs or psychotropic drugs, living in vulnerable families and insecure and criminal neighborhoods. In the context of the challenges facing victims of sexual crimes, we can mention such things as the silence of victims, sexual and mental illnesses after committing a crime. Therefore, in the structure of this form of police, it is necessary to use different working groups consisting of people with special specialties such as psychologist, specialist doctor, cyber specialist, welfare representative and trained police forces in the face of crime. Specialized police for victims of sexual crimes can take some preventive social measures, including a) education-oriented measures (through schools, scientific conferences in university centers and making programs on radio and television) and also b) strengthening the role of non-governmental organizations in order to involve people in this field.
