Review of the Mystical Works of Repentance and its Role in Peace of Mind According to the Qur'an

Religion has an undeniable role in all aspects of individual and social life. Among the cultural phenomena and manifestations of societies, religion has always played an effective and fundamental role in the intellectual and spiritual life of society, but in proportion to changing societal conditions and the emergence of obstacles, the degree of adherence to religion and the occurrence of religious practices and behaviors has become stronger and weaker. Is Considering the Islamic nature of society and the attention of religious teachings to the human soul and psyche, which are emphasized in the verses of the Holy Quran, the importance of repentance in personal life and, consequently, its effects on social life is clear. Examining the Qur'anic verses shows the emphasis on repentance for committing a mistake or sin. Comparing the similarities and differences of repentance from the perspective of contemporary psychology with the Holy Qur'an, which Muslim believes describes as the most comprehensive and moderate way of life that affirms the basic principles of all divine religions, will be very significant. This research has studied the content, analysis and compilation of data on repentance from the perspective of the Qur'an and narrations through a library method and its effects on the human soul and psyche have been expressed based on psychological data.
