Explain the integrated model of marine abilities of students of the University of Marine Sciences

In order to train officers who can play a role in the second step of the revolution in order to generate power and dignity for the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran; There was a need for officers who, in addition to naval knowledge; Have naval capability; For this purpose, this study, while examining the theoretical foundations in the field of skills and abilities, has examined the various dimensions and aspects expected from a graduate of Imam Khomeini University of Marine Sciences in the field of maritime ability. The present study is of qualitative type and in terms of development-applied purpose that after three stages of Delphi process among selected professors from the University of Marine Sciences, the dimensions, indicators and components of maritime capability were determined. The results showed that the integrated model of maritime ability of the graduates of the University of Marine Sciences put them in a chain of mental to metacognitive abilities. This chain includes 10 components (maritime thinking, analytics, behavioral management, teamwork at sea, knowledge of maritime diplomacy, emotional intelligence, spiritual training, living at sea, learning assessment, self-knowledge management) and includes four dimensions. Mental, communication, emotional-emotional abilities and metacognitive abilities in the marine environment are the ones that the officials of Nedaja and university education system should make the necessary investment to strengthen the components and dimensions of students' maritime ability.
