Comparison of managerial competencies in the Department of Sports and Youth of Lorestan Province with the succession approach
The purpose of this study is to compare managerial competencies in the Department of Sports and Youth of Lorestan Province with the succession approach. This research is descriptive-survey and causal-comparative in terms of relationships between variables. The statistical population of this study included all the official staff of Lorestan Sports and Youth Department, of which 165 people were determined as a statistical sample using Cochran's formula and then using stratified random sampling method from two groups of managers and subordinates. were chosen. The researcher-made questionnaire of Khashoei et al. (2013) was used to collect data. The validity of the questionnaire was approved by 11 management experts. Its reliability was also calculated 0.928 through Cronbach's alpha. Descriptive statistics were used to describe demographic characteristics and the Kalmograph-Smirnov test was used to examine the distribution of data. To test the hypotheses according to the normality of the data, an independent t-test was used to compare the competencies of managers with subordinates. The results showed that the average of all competencies of current managers, including value creation, analysis ability, decision making, knowledge, adaptability, performance and communication ability are significantly different from subordinates. But the average leadership ability of managers was not significantly different from subordinates.
