Pathology of higher education management system (Case Study: An Army Unit)
Due to the intense competition between universities in providing resources and student recruitment, universities need pathology and improving their performance, so this study aims to diagnose the complication of the higher education system one of The units of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran have been trained in the field of personnel.
The data collection method was survey and descriptive and inferential statistics were used for analysis. The population size of officer personnel stationed in one of the army units was 645 and the sample size was calculated through Cochran's formula of 242 people. Random stratified sampling and data collection tool is a questionnaire consisting of 7 criteria and 61 items in the field of enablers and results. The content validity of this questionnaire has been approved by professors. Reliability was confirmed by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient with SPSS17 software equal to 0.78 and for data analysis, one-sample "Kolmograph-Smirnov" and "t" tests and two-sentence test were used.
The findings of descriptive statistics indicate that the lowest vulnerability was related to the criterion of leadership and educational management and the highest vulnerability was related to the criterion of learners' satisfaction. In the field of inferential statistics and in confirmation of descriptive findings, in the criteria of management and leadership and the training process, the state of excellence has been favorable. In the criteria of organizational structure and regulations, as well as educational resources and facilities, the status of excellent excellence has been evaluated, and in the criteria of learners' satisfaction, behavioral changes and key outcomes of the status of excellence have not been desirable
