Determining the Relationship between Sleep Disorder and Suicidal Ideation Disorder with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in Kermanshah Earthquake Nurses

Arthquake is one of the most devastating natural disasters that has many psychological effects on survivors and nurses who are in contact with them. Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the relationship between sleep disorder and suicidal ideation disorder with post-traumatic stress disorder in nurses after the Kermanshah earthquake.

The research method is applied in terms of purpose and survey in terms of implementation. The statistical population of this study includes all nurses present and dispatched to the scene of the accident in Kermanshah. Sampling method was available as random sampling and the number of sample members using Cochran's formula was equal to 150 people and based on the criteria for entering and leaving the Mississippi Post Traumatic Stress Scale Questionnaire, the questionnaire Petersburg quality of sleep and Aronbeck suicidal ideation scale responded.

The results showed that post-traumatic stress disorder, both directly and indirectly, has a positive and significant relationship with suicidal ideation disorder and sleep disorder. Also, in fitting the designed model, it was found that because the GFI and AGFI index values ​​obtained are close to one, and in addition, the root mean square of the estimation error or RMSEA is less than 0.08 and in the acceptable range, it can be said that the variables The model fits well with the data.

The results of this study and the importance of the Nurses' Health on public health, monitoring and evaluation and treatment of sleep and disorder of ideas of suicide and its relationship with the disorder, post-traumatic stress can be a valuable guidelines to improve disorder, post-traumatic stress in nurses be accompanied.
