Managing Emotions as Soft Power with an Islamic Approach

If we consider politics as a taxidermy and empty it of passion, excitement and emotion, there is really nothing left of politics; Because rationality and emotion are intertwined. One area in which emotions are influential is "soft power." With these interpretations, the present article seeks to answer the question that What is the relationship between arousal and management of emotions and soft power? The research hypothesis is based on the statement that: Given that one of the main components of soft power is the popular support of the government, One of the important functions of emotions is to strengthen the soft power of the government and consequently to increase the national and international authority of the ruling political system. The main purpose of this study is to present an Islamic approach to the management of emotions by the Prophet (PBUH) and Amir al-Mu'minin (AS). To increase the soft power of the government by establishing these nobles. The method of the present research is based on the purpose, theoretical and developmental and based on the nature and method, "documentary". According to the research findings, one of the ways in which the government can increase its popular support is It is a matter of stimulating and managing the emotions and feelings of the people. This study examined the performance of the Prophetic and Alawite rule and clarified that the Prophet (PBUH) and Amir al-Mu'minin (AS) in various socio-political areas, including international relations, as a protest, in the face of enemies, as a famous commandment and prohibition. In denial and in war, they have managed the emotions of the people in the right direction.
