The Effectiveness of Frisch's Quality of Life Education on Circle of Moral Regard and Prosocial Behaviors

Frisch's education of quality of life strives to improve the emotional, cognitive, and ethical dimensions of people's lives by maximizing positive and minimal negative emotions, and practicing ethical, cognitive and emotional change in practice. In the present study, the effectiveness of Frisch's quality of life education on circle of moral regard and prosocial behaviors of primary caregivers of schizophrenia patients was investigated.

The present study is a quasi-experimental study. From the population of primary caregivers of schizophrenia patients in Shahrekord city in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, 40 primary caregivers were selected using available sampling method. Research tools included circle of moral regard and prosocial behaviors questionnaires. Data analysis was performed by repeated measure ANOVA using SPSS-22 software.

The results showed that Frisch's quality of life education had a significant effect on circle of moral regard and prosocial behaviors of the primary caregivers of schizophrenia patients.

The present study showed that Frisch's education affects the quality of life, ethical compliance, and sociable behaviors of primary caregivers of schizophrenia patients. Accordingly, quality of life education draws new standards and priorities for individuals and creates new musts and doings for them, by balancing the value areas of life that currently exist with these new needs and standards and improves on circle of moral regard and prosocial behaviors
