Ability to predict the job performance of the staff of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts based on the components of cultural intelligence, based on gender control
purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of cultural intelligence and job performance of cultural heritage and tourism employees with emphasis on gender control. This research is a descriptive-survey type. The statistical population of this study is all employees of the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Department of Mazandaran Province. 130 people were selected as a sample through cluster sampling. Data of this study were collected through a questionnaire. The questionnaires of Ang et al. (2004) and Patterson (1989) were used to measure cultural intelligence and job performance, respectively. Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests, Pearson correlation coefficient, multivariate regression and t-test were used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between all dimensions of cultural intelligence and job performance. However, in the regression equations in which the effect of different dimensions was measured, both motivational and behavioral dimensions had a positive effect, but metacognitive and cognitive dimensions did not have the power of predictability. Also, t-test showed that there is no significant difference between men and women in terms of cultural intelligence.
