The role of corporate governance and the negative effects of Covid-19

The outbreak of the Covid-19 disease has covered almost all the countries of the world, and in addition, due to the spread of the corona virus, the world stock markets have experienced their most unprecedented falls in recent years. However, the consequences of this disease for Iran's economy, which is also facing the cruel sanctions of the United States, are more severe and complicated. Therefore, the existence of a basic corporate governance mechanism in companies plays a very important role in this period of the Corona crisis. The more companies have stronger mechanisms, the stronger they will be against this crisis. Therefore, in the current research, an attempt was made to review the theoretical foundations of corporate governance and its roles in a financial system, and then to deal with the Covid-19 crisis in the world and Iran and its impact on various dimensions.
