One of the social ills that has affected different sections of society today is drug addiction. Meanwhile, young people are among the most vulnerable in society to drug use. Due to the necessity of the issue, the subject of the present study is to investigate the tendency to drug addiction among female students of the Martyrs' Dormitory at the University of Tabriz. In this study, the role of individual, social and psychological factors in students' tendency to use drugs has been investigated. The method of the present study was a survey and 200 statistical samples were selected from Morgan's formula. Sampling was performed by combined stratified method. The tool for measuring variables is a questionnaire. SPSS 25 software was used to analyze the collected data. According to the results of the study, there is a significant relationship between the variables of self-confidence, socializing with friends and the dependent variable, ie drug addiction among students.
