Identifying the effective factors of technology capabilities on increasing innovation capacities in the development of home-based businesses

The purpose of this study is to identify the effective factors of technology capabilities on increasing innovation capacity for the development of home businesses. The research was applied research with a qualitative approach. The technique used for data collection, analysis and data analysis was content analysis. The statistical population is handicrafts (pottery, ceramics and hand-woven carpets) in the year 2019. After reviewing the literature of the subject, by compiling the interview guide questions, seventeen interviews were conducted using the in-depth interview technique with purposeful sampling of key informants using the snowball method. Research data was categorized and refined by linking between categories. As a result of 34 concepts of barriers and 17 concepts of drivers of innovation, increasing capacity respectively the importance of research and development components, knowledge acquisition capacity and increasing experimental skills as the most important capabilities with 14 sub-components, in the dimensions of innovation with priority- : Refining of raw materials, creative design, modification of production operations and market knowledge were identified.
