Prioritization of Date and Date Processing Industries in Abadan County Districts
The emergence of new opportunities for local and regional development depends on the use of an important instrument of industrial development. The transformation and complementary process of effective factors in the development of agriculture and rural areas, as well as the creation of sustainable employment, reduction of agricultural products and, ultimately, food security. Development of this Industry in rural areas can play an important role in rural development, given the available facilities. The purpose of this research is to select the best optimum location for creating conversion and complementary industries among the districts of Abadan. This research is descriptive-analytic. To select the sample in the population of the households of Abadan rural districts, a random sample of 216 people was selected as the sample size using the Cochran formula. In the statistical population of agricultural experts, a sample size of 31 people has been sampled randomly. In analyzing information from the AHP model. T test was used. The results of the research according to the AHP model indicate that the North Bahamashir district with a ratio of 19122 is more important than other factors and in comparison with the Shahlah village with a ratio of 19132 has the lowest priority . Also, according to the t-test, the effect of date conversion industries on rural development in the study area was higher than the average for the studied farmers.
