Abstract:

This study examined the relationship between the members of the board of directors and the audit committee with the performance of companies admitted to the Tehran Stock Exchange. The companies that are members of the stock exchange from 1394 to 1400 were selected as the statistical population of this research, and 120 companies were selected as a statistical sample based on the screened criteria. The results and empirical evidence show that between the size of the board of directors and the performance of the company, there is a positive and significant relationship. There is no positive and significant relationship between the independence of the board of directors and the performance of the company. There is a positive and significant relationship between the form of the audit committee and the company's performance. There is a positive and significant relationship between the effectiveness of the audit committee and the company's performance
