The effect of safety practices and organizational citizenship behavior on safety management regarding the role of conscientiousness among Qazvin fire department employees
The purpose of the present research is to investigate the impact of safety practices and organizational citizenship behavior on safety management with regard to the role of conscientiousness among Qazvin fire department employees. The current research is applied in terms of purpose and correlational in terms of descriptive method. The statistical population includes Qazvin fire department employees, whose number is 422, and using Cochran's formula, the sample size was estimated to be 218. In this research, a non-probability sampling method was used for sampling. Structural equation model was used to investigate the relationships between research variables using Smart PLS software. The results of data analysis show that the statistical significance between the variable of safety practices and conscientiousness is equal (4.284) and the path coefficient between these two variables is equal (0.455). The significant statistic between the variable of safety practices and safety management is equal to (8.439) and the path coefficient between these two variables is equal to (0.322). The significant statistic between the variables of organizational citizenship behavior and conscientiousness is equal to (6.717) and the path coefficient between these two variables is equal to (0.176). The significant statistic between the variable of organizational citizenship behavior and safety management is equal to (11.127) and the path coefficient between these two variables is equal to (0.109). The significant statistic between conscientiousness and safety management variable is equal to (6.365) and the path coefficient between these two variables is equal to (0.265)
