Sociological Analysis of Identity and Users in Telegram and Instagram Social Networks(Case Study: Third High School Students of Shiraz City)

The present research seeks to describe and interpret the actions and actions of the participants (third grade high school students in Shiraz city) in the phenomenon of user identity and security in Telegram and Instagram social networks and discover the lived experience of entering social networks. and describe The complexity and multifacetedness of the phenomenon under study on the one hand, and its contextuality in the cultural context on the other hand, led to the adoption of a qualitative approach and phenomenological strategy and contextual theory. For this purpose, we tried to collect research data with various tools such as in-depth and semi-structured interviews, field and collaborative observations, informal conversations and the use of documents and reports. The statistical population of the research includes 15 female students and 18 male students in one district of Shiraz. The researcher stopped the interview after reaching theoretical saturation. In this research, a combination of two qualitative methods, phenomenology and grounded theory, and two theoretical and purposeful sampling methods were used. From the review of the texts related to the data collected from interviews with users of virtual space, the concepts of self-reflection and the development of reflexive thinking, interactions and communications in Telegram and Instagram, the experience of time and place displacement, the experience of anxiety and trust, the experience of freedom, independence Individuality and power of idealism, communication transformation, controllism and lack of security were extracted. The main and final concept of the director's power, which expresses the role-playing and action power of the virtual space user compared to the real world, and the user can experience diverse and sometimes conflicting roles and functions at the same time, which is due to the user's directorial power in the social network.
