Identification and ranking of effective factors in the implementation of green supply chain management in steel industries of Khuzestan province by fuzzy AHP

The purpose of this study was to identify and prioritize the factors affecting implementation of green supply chain management in Khuzestan province steel industry using exploratory factor analysis and fuzzy AHP.

This research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of data collection method is a descriptive - survey. The research has two questionnaires that to respond to the first questionnaire 15 people of supply chain field experts and specialists and those who were aware of social responsibilities were selected by unlikelihood judgment method. SPSS and EXCEL softwares were used for data analysis. The result of exploratory factor analysis for 36 factors was identified, resulted in the extraction of six variables of government factors, customer factors, organizational factors, financial factors, external factors and global competition factors as effective variables in implementing green supply chain management in the Khuzestan Steel Industry. The statistical population for the second questionnaire is managers and experts in the field of logistics, purchasing affairs and supply chain in the Khuzestan steel industry that Their number is 306 in all three Khuzestan steel company, Aksin Steel and National Industrial Steel Group of Iran. The sample size was evaluated 169 according to the Morgan table who were selected by Random classification method.

Regarding the results achieved from the Fuzzy AHP test it can be expressed that customer factors, government factors, financial factors, external factors and global competition factors are as effective factors in implementation of khuzestan province steel industries’ green supply chain.

The results of Fuzzy AHP test to rank these variables also showed that among the variables, customer factors, government factors and financial factors respectively has the first to third priority in terms of importance in implementation of green supply chain management.
