The present study was conducted with the aim of pathology of students ' identity process in Islamic Azad University of Bandar Abbas with emphasis on Iranian Islamic model of progress. Qualitative research method and data collection method were deep interview, observation and documentation. The research population is all students of Azad University who were selected using purposeful sampling method. Data analysis method, deductive analysis method and data analysis approach were descriptive-interpretive approach. The results of this study show that students have been faced with two scientific and cultural issues during their studies, with the most emphasis and attention of free University, which is related to academic education. The way the confrontation of the students has been made with conscious and uninformed-shaped identity fields. The subject of conscious confrontation in cases of specialized scientific fields and in some cases are subject to socio-cultural context. Among the eight main components, seven components of authority, unity, experience, relevance, value, awareness and badge about the scientific and somewhat cultural fields of achievement and the component of stability
