The Effectiveness of Teaching Concepts of Positive Psychology on strategies of coping with stress among the staff in the corona Clinic
This research was conducted with the aim of studying "the effectiveness of teaching the concepts of positive attitude on strategies of coping with stress in the staff of Corona ward clinic in Kamyaran city". The research was quasiexperimental with a pre-test and post-test design and with experimental and control groups. The statistical population of the present study included all the staff of the corona clinic in Kamyaran city in the winter of 1399 and the spring of 1400. Using available sampling method, 20 people were selected and were randomly divided into two equal groups of 10 people and 8 sessions of positive approach concepts taken from Seligman (2006) for the experimental group. Data were collected using the Stress Coping Styles Questionnaire (Andler and Parker, 1990). In addition to descriptive statistical methods, data analysis was performed by analysis of covariance and SPSS-22. Findings indicated that the difference between pre-test and post-test scores of experimental and control groups for styles of coping with stress respectively. (32/7؛76/7؛34/6 =F, 001/0=P-Value) . The results showed that positive treatment is effective on coping with stress in the staff of the corona clinic of Kamyaran city.
